Touch in the Truth

Hello everyone, I hope you all are doing well on this gorgeous Sunday. (Well, it’s gorgeous here anyway…)

Today has been a pretty good day for me, Vince and I went to church this morning at www.lifechurch.tv well, an actual campus of course. We made the 10am service. Right now we’re doing a series called “Once Upon a Marriage” reviewing four marriages from the Old Testament one each week. Today was the last week in the series. I’ve missed the last couple weeks so I went back through on my church’s website and watched one of the messages I missed. I love my church that way. I can go back and watch messages from three or four years ago before I joined if I wanted. It’s really great. Today spoke to my heart a little bit.

And then after church Vince took me to eat at the amazing Smash Burger. Fried pickles equal happiness :D I’ve been talking about eating there the last couple days (okay, weeks) and then he took me. The burger was pretty good but I went for the friend pickles. I LOVE fried pickles. What can I say? I’m from Oklahoma, I love me some fried food. *gasp* fried oreo’s sound amazing! *sigh* but I digress.

V thinks I’m a bit depressed. And maybe I am? I don’t know. I don’t really think so. But then again, the people that are crazy always think they’re not. Hmph. Whatever.

Speaking of oreo’s! Laura bought some and brought them home just now!!

My Cookie Lee Jewelry sales have been up this week, woot woot! Take a look at: www.cookielee.biz/crissyrowland Right now Cookie Lee is so kind as to offer a free cruise around Europe for those who are working their business. I’ve always wanted to go to Europe, going for free sounds like the perfect way to travel!

I’m better go. My cat, Batman, is vying for my attention.

Dear writer’s of “Lost” season 3,

I am very irritated with this whole season but I am enduring it none-the-less.

I hope season 4 is ten times better.

Sincerely, Crissy

My bestie/roommate Laura…

…is Catholic and apparently today is the first day of Lent so she informed me that she’s giving up donuts (she works at a donut shop) and I told her that I will do so as well. (She brings them home a lot and of course I end up eating one, or two, for no reason) SO, we’re both giving up donuts. Keep her on your prayer list…it’s going to be really hard for her to deny a donut when she gets to work around 5am M-F :( I’m not so sure I’d be able to do it if I had to look at them every morning…

AHHHHH!

I had my little pile of stuff to do my taxes, my W2’s, my donation forms, and my 1098 OR SO I THOUGHT. Where did my 1098 go?? I HAVE to have this to show how much money I paid for school last year. I’m flipping OCD, everything WAS in a certain place. Until I totally spaced and LOST that stupid piece of paper. I spent an hour looking for it. Then washed my makeup off and then looked for it for another 30 minutes until I decided I’d sleep on it and maybe remember where I stuck it in the morning? I hope…I really don’t want to go see the principal of sorts and ask her for a new one. (I go to beauty school. It’s small and I call the owner lady the principle. It makes me hate school less)

ANYWAY, I’m going to bed. I’m irritated and tired and I’m thrilled to near death that tomorrow is Friday. YAY.

It’s free money for college and if you’ve been following me for a little while, you probably have picked up on the fact that I don’t have much to spare.

Reblogging this would mean the world to me, too.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

Yes, we’re making a pizza. And that there, on the left, is a cheese grader holding up that side of the pizza because it doesn’t exactly fit in our wonderful toaster oven.
My roommate and I still laugh hysterically about this evening. :)

Today is going to be a good day. Dang it.

  • Me: Did you close the doggy door?
  • Laura: Is our cat inside?
  • Me: I thought I heard him...
  • Laura: I'll go down in a minute and close it and he may have to just wait until morning to come back in. We have a curfew around here dang it.
  • Me: Is it odd that we're talking about a cat? LOL
  • (few minutes later)
  • Laura: So... I'm ridiculously mean.
  • Me: Why? What did you do?
  • Laura: I didn't do it on purpose but I went downstairs, yelled for Batman to come back inside and I waited and then shut the doggy door.
  • Me: Uh huh...
  • Laura: And I swear not 20 seconds later he runs his head right into the doggy door. I wait a minute and then open it and let him in.
  • (we both laugh hysterically)

Dude.
